Welcome to Pleasant View Resort & Marina, where families come to make memories that will last a lifetime. Owned and operated by two families born and raised in Henry County, we understand the importance of spending quality time with loved ones. That's why we offer a number of features and activities that cater to families, including swimming in the pool, boating on the lake, and enjoying a tasty meal at one of the nearby restaurants. Our cozy and comfortable accommodations are designed to make families feel right at home, allowing you to focus on what really matters - spending time with each other.

60 Years and Going Strong: The Resort’s Legacy and History

Pleasant View Resort & Marina has been a beloved fixture in Henry County for over 60 years. Over time, we've grown and evolved to meet the changing needs of our guests. In 2021, the resort was purchased by two families, Paul and Danyel Harber, and Chris and Christy Alexander. We are committed to providing the same warm and welcoming atmosphere that families have come to expect from Pleasant View Resort & Marina, while also implementing improvements to enhance the overall guest experience.

  • What is the minimum stay required for a unit rental at Pleasant View Resort & Marina?

    There is a 2 night stay minimum per unit rental.

  • Are bed linens provided for each bed?

    Absolutely! Fresh, clean bed linens are provided for each bed.

  • Do guests need to bring their own towels and washcloths?

    We kindly request our guests to bring along their own towels and washcloths, so they can feel right at home with their own preferred linens. However, units #6, #8,  #9, #10, B, and D have a washer and dryer available so guests can keep clean laundry.


    *Please note that detergent or softener is not provided.

  • What property amenities are available at Pleasant View Resort & Marina?

    Property amenities include:

    - A swimming pool (no lifeguard on duty)

    - A boat slip with each unit rental

    - Full-service marina with gas and oil for boats available

    - Drinks, snacks, and ice are available at the marina store

    - Laundry Mat free to guests. Detergents and softeners are sold on-site.


  • Are there any nearby dining options or local amenities?

    The nearby town of Paris, TN is just a short 20-minute drive away and has several community restaurants and amenities available.

  • Are there any cleaning fees?

    As part of our commitment to providing a clean and comfortable stay, we do charge a nominal cleaning fee to ensure your family can fully relax and enjoy your time together.


    - Units #3 and #4 have a cleaning fee of $50.00 per unit.

    - Units #5, #6, #7, have a cleaning fee of $100.00 per unit.

    - Units A,B,C and D #8, #9, and #10 have a cleaning fee of $125 per unit.


  • How do guests receive their keys upon arrival?

    Our friendly property manager will greet you upon arrival and personally hand you the keys to your cozy cabin.

  • Is there Wi-Fi available at Pleasant View Resort & Marina?

    Yes, Wi-Fi is available at Pleasant View Resort & Marina. The Wi-Fi access is free in all units and no password is required.

  • What safety systems are in place?

    All of our cabins come with smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and carbon monoxide detectors.
